We don’t get much snow here in Carova, NC, but we still try to keep the Holiday Spirit alive as best we can.

Even our neighborhood recycling center, affectionately called “The Dump” does what they can to celebrate.

If you are planning on spending the holidays over here, make sure to stop by and say hi to the hard working employees.

Currituck County’s Green Initiative

As with Most of North Carolina, Currituck County has been trying to do their part in going Green and  being more environmentally conscious. In 2008 they had set up the Currituck Goes Green Initiative. Their goal for this initiave was to save tax dollars, assure clean land, air and water, improve working and living environments, and allow the county to thrive in the future.

To further reinforce their Green Initiative, in 2009 the Board of Commissioners created the Currituck County Sustainability Resolution to show their plans to lead by example and to make Currituck County more stable, sustainable, and prosperous.
